Technical visit of the “Design and Construction in Geotechnical Engineering” course

A big thanks to Christoph Weiler and external pageMaximilian von Rochowcall_made from external pageLocher Ingenieure AGcall_made for organizing the annual technical visit of the external pageETH Chair of Geotechnical Engineeringcall_made. The new 6-kilometer long district-heating pipeline between the incinerators of Hagenholz and Josefstrasse from ERZ (Entsorgung und Recycling Zürich) is almost completed. It was impressive to walk through the long microtunnel and visit the massive shafts right underneath the urban area of Zurich.
