Soil Testing Laboratories

Our soil testing laboratories are equipped with a variety of testing devices, including soil classification, incremental loading (IL) and continuous loading (CL) oedometers, a custom-made large direct shear apparatus, a modified simple shear, in-house built triaxial testing devices, a large dynamic triaxial, a hollow cylinder apparatus, as well as a climate chamber and partially-saturated soil mechanics devices. Our experimental infrastructure is predominantly used for research and teaching purposes. On demand, we also offer highly-specialized consulting services to the industry.
