Time Domain Reflectometers

Time domain reflectometry (TDR) and capacitance techniques are regarded as the most reliable methods for measurement of volumetric moisture content. The laboratory is equipped with several commercial T3F TDR sensors, manufactured by East 30 Sensors. The T3F sensor has three rods of 60 mm length, at an external distance of 13 mm, attached to a head of dimensions 25 × 13 × 13 mm.
