Group participation to the 10th ICPMG conference (Daejeon, South Korea)

The ETH Chair of Geotechnical Engineering of ETH Zürich actively participated in the 10th International Conference on Physical Modelling in Geotechnics in Daejeon, South Korea. We would like to thank the organizing committee for the excellent conference experience. Prof. Ioannis Anastasopoulos and Drs. Lampros Sakellariadis, Konstantinos Kassas, Eva Korre and Athanasios Agalianos presented their work regarding the topics of piled foundations, soil liquefaction and seismic faulting respectively, employing combined geotechnical centrifuge testing and validated nonlinear numerical analyses.
