The Institute for Geotechnical Engineering (IGT) of ETH Zurich is hosting the fall conference of the Swiss Geotechnical Society (GS) on the topic "Research and Innovation in Geotechnics". The conference will take place at the ETH Hönggerberg Campus (HIT E 51) on November 22-23. The program will start on November 22 with a short course on seismic design organized by the Chair of Geotechnical Engineering, followed by a dinner. On November 23 the main event will take place, consisting of state-of-the-art presentations on innovations in geotechnical engineering and a tour of the Institute’s laboratories.
